Sewol ferry incident

I think by now the whole world knows about the ferry incident that happened in South Korea.

My deepest condolences to those who left the world. And My deepest prayer to those who are still out there, missing, hopefully surviving.

Rescue efforts are still going on and I feel bad that I can't do much to help.

But what I want to say is this there's something to learn from this incident.

'Life is full of uncertainties'

We never know what will happen to us in the next minute or even the next second. Who could have expect that the ferry will sink. What started as a happy, leisure trip actually turned out to be a tragedy. No one can foresee what is going to happen next.
So we should all cherish whatever we have and whoever we have. We should treasure all the time that we have. We should be good to the people who are with us.

If you have read those messages/notes that the victims sent to their family, you would've cried.
Be careful of what you say. Whatever you send out could be your last words. So treat your family good. Don't say 'I Love You' or 'I'm Sorry' at the last minute. Make them know that you love them.

This incident and the previous incident make me cherish life more.

Since I haven't been blogging for a long time, I'm going to write a post today.

First of all, i'm so not used to my new keyboard. I need some time to adjust to it. So I'm spending such a long time to write one post.

Ok anyway, about my life, it has been fine. Had a long holiday ever since exams ended and I'm going to a new school soon. Thank god my results were not bad. School is going to start soon. I'm kind of worried yet excited. After all, it's a whole new environment and experience. And I'm turning 17 this year. Time flies. Slowly, i'm growing up and learning more and more things as I mature.

enough about school. I'm going to look forward to it and keep a positive mind. about my holidays, well, I don't know what to say about it. At first I was supposed to attend the Korean Music Wave in SG but it got cancelled. yes I got scammed. whatever. So never mind that... anyway, I did quite a number of things this few months.

1. no KMW but I went to this K-fever, a kpop fair brought together by various kpop fanclubs in SG. I went with my friends and we had fun, watching the kpop dance cover competition. We also learn by observing others' dance.

2. had a part time job. but it was short term. Though I didn't work for long, maybe because I'm too lazy, it was still a great experience. After all it was my first work experience. So shiok to spend the money I earned. I can safely call it mine. But money is hard to earn. We should all save up! now im broke, ok shall not say that because there are people in the world that are not so privileged than me. I should count myself lucky. So I should start saving.

3. choosing a school. I made the decision myself. sort of the biggest decision I ever made in my entire life. suddenly I felt like I grew up. I felt a sense of responsibility. Because it's a decision that can affect my whole life. I had to think very carefully and no one else can help me because it's my life. Even my parents can't help me to choose. They can only give me advice.

4. Dance. yes dancing has always been my interest and slowly turning into a passion. I really hope to keep on pursuing it. It has always been my way of relieving stress. I love to dance even if I'm not good at it. but who cares, it's my own problem, it's my life. I got a chance to learn dance at a dance school with my friend and the experience was great. We get to learn different dance styles even if it's for one lesson. at least we learn and experience something. and also, I get to meet people whose dance skills are far better than me.

5. Little teacher. I went back to my secondary school and taught my juniors dance. yes, I'm not good but it's something I learnt before.  Besides, while teaching them, I get to learn from them. It also helps to build up my sense of responsibility because I have a mission, which is to pass down what I've learnt. It was a good experience and in fact today was our last lesson. After spending a month with them at least, I do feel sad parting with them. T.T hope to go back soon when I have time and see how much they grown.

[MOVIE REVIEW] A must watch!

I remembered a friend asking me what's my favourite movie when we were on the topic and my answer was "I don't know". But now, I have an answer to that and it's a movie that I would want to recommend everyone to watch.

It's a Korean movie, some may have watched it before while some may not. How I came to know about it? K-Pop fans should know. I chanced upon it while watching EXO'S SHOWTIME episode 4, when they gathered together to watch a movie while answering a fan's question. Also, I remembered that Teen Top's Niel once mentioned about it in an interview during M Countdown in LA.

Interested to know what the movie is? Ok I'll reveal it now. It's called "7번방의 선물 Miracles In Cell No. 7". (photo credit to owner)

 It's a 2013 movie, heartwarming comedy and family melodrama about a mentally challenged man wrongfully imprisoned for murder who builds friendships with the hardened criminals in his cell, and they help him see his daughter again by breaking her in. (credits to Wikipedia). It starred Ryu Seung Ryong and Park Shin Hye. About the plot, you might want to check it out yourself~~ Because I'm not telling~~

Anyway, although it's supposedly was a comedy, it made me cry a river. yes, a river, maybe not to that extent but that's how much it impacted me. There's lots of touching scenes, at least to me because I cried a lot and was still crying even after watching it. Compared to all the other movies I have watched before (although most are of the horror/thriller/slasher genre), this one melted my heart and made me cry in the middle of the night. I didn't cry because whatever happened in the story happened to me but I always imagined myself to be in that character's shoes and imagined myself experiencing the whole event. It's a simple story but it's so real and the fatherly love between the pair of father and daughter is something we have and should cherish everyday.

I shouldn't say too much because I will spoil the movie so try to find it and watch. It won't waste your time unless you don't watch too deeply. I think you may learn a thing or two in it so be sure to catch it!

And all of the above are just my personal views about this movie after I watched it. No offense or anything.

Troublemaker!

Many might not know but i'm not only a fan of TEEN TOP and EXO, but i'm also a huge fan of TROUBLE MAKER! Anyone with me? 
Firtsly, they are having a comeback!! I'm so excited and anticipating. The MV has been released and i have to say that the song is great! Do check it out! It's really great! Although it's rated 19...

TROUBLE MAKER has never fail to make me impress. They are so cool and i love their style. The way they bring out their own colours and everything! 

One thing that made me angry are of course comments. Yes, they might have gone a bit too exaggerating for this MV, rated 19 and many more.. but please appreciate it in the 'music' way. I don't get why their are many comments saying that "this looks like porn" or "this mv is shitty" or something. Just my own opinion, but people have to watch it without thinking so much. Can't they just watch and appreciate the song, the story and concept behind it... 

Thankfully for all the other fans who truly supports them and understand them and do not look at them just by the surface! Show your love for TROUBLE MAKER! I can't force people to like them but just don't criticise them. Thanks!

STOP SASAENG!!!

I'm sure by now most of EXO fans must have already known what our 'beloved' sasaeng fans has done again to show their 'love' for EXO! 

Just how could they even call themselves as an EXO fan!!! Seriously! How could they ruin Baekhyun's hyung wedding!! This is too much! I'm sure Baekhyun oppa and the rest of EXO is fiming mad right! this got to be the worst news i heard once i came back home! 

Why can't they just show some respect to them? If you truly love them then respect them and show them your love in the right way? how is ruining someone wedding an act of love? 

next, what's wrong with Kai and Lay dancing with Hyoyeon? It's for the broadcast! furthermore, they are all part of SM family, why can't they be close? Its not like she is taking our oppa away from us! we should be happy that they have a chance to perform and learn from their sunbaes... 

Sasaengs acts are seriously too much! Hence we should all stand together and fight with them, even if it means to start a fanwar. but  hopefully it won't end up that way. I just hope that sasaeng fans will wake up!!
